The infrastructure available for teaching activities, research and administrative management, and experimental areas are very good. In addition to UEL’s infrastructure, our program has historical partnerships with EMBRAPA-Soja, IDR-Paraná, also with excellent infrastructure. In addition, UEL has libraries, a university community service center, university restaurant, theaters, amphitheaters, sports center, and others. The Graduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology has two exclusive classrooms, secretary, student lounge and meeting room. In addition, we can use other classrooms and laboratories at the Center for Biological Sciences.

Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Informatics (LIG)

CCB Classroom Center

Multiuser Center of Research Laboratories at UEL (CMLP)

The CMLP manages six laboratories (Agricultural Research Support Laboratory – LAPA, Electron Microscopy and Microanalysis Laboratory – LMEM, Materials and Molecule Analysis Laboratory – LAMM, Spectroscopy Laboratory – ESPEC, X-Ray Analysis Laboratory – LARX and the Graduate School Laboratory – LABESC). The main equipment acquired as multi-users are: Transmission and Scanning Electron Microscopes and support apparatus, Mass Spectrometer, GBS Sequencer-ion-proton technology, ABI Sequencer, Flow Cytometer, Confocal Microscope, Near Infrared Spectrometer (NIR), Spectrometer Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS), X-Ray Spectrometer, Real Time PCR Apparatus, Refrigerated Countertop Ultracentrifuge, High Performance Floor Ultracentrifuge, DNA, RNA and Protein Quantifier, Epifluorescence Microscope, Freezer at -80 degrees, in addition to support equipment, such as scales, electrophoresis systems and others.

Graduate School Laboratory (LABESC)

LABESC, which is a center with 9 classrooms and meeting rooms, equipped with video conference systems (3) and high speed Internet. This space has enabled us to bring professors and researchers to participate remotely in the Masters and Doctorate examination boards. This space was built with FINEP resources and greatly improved our work environment focused on academic activities, such as seminars, workshops and symposiums, with a focus on information sharing.
