Presentation

Responding to a social demand for knowledge production and qualified intervention in the Psychology area, in 2016 Londrina State University created a Masters in Psychology, approved by CAPES at the beginning of 2017.

The Graduate Program in Psychology, located in the Biological Sciences Center, was conceived and developed from a partnership between the  Department of Psychology and Psychoanalysis and the Department of social and institutional Psychology. Its implementation consolidates academic production accumulated during the 42 years of existence of the Psychology Undergraduate Course at this University.

Since its creation, marked by the theoretical and methodological diversity of the partner departments, the Program comprehends Psychology as a broad field that encompasses the investigation of contemporary subjectivity in the scope of practices and statements. It proposes to train teachers, researchers and professionals qualified for teaching, producing and using scientific knowledge in Psychology in its different areas of intervention.
