Self-assessment is one of the indicators considered in the Evaluation of Graduate Programs (see the Evaluation Form for our area) and has been encouraged as a way to ensure that programs achieve their goals in terms of human resource training, research development, and innovation. Together with external evaluation bodies, self-assessment aims to promote spaces for critical reflection on institutional practices for their improvement.
The work of the Self-Assessment Committee (CAA) is guided by the guidelines provided by CAPES, through the Report of the Working Group on Self-Assessment of Graduate Programs, and by the Institutional Graduate Evaluation Committee of UEL.
The CAA has been working in close collaboration with the PPGEL’s coordinating committee to carry out the stages of preparation, implementation, dissemination of results, use of results, and meta-evaluation, thus contributing to the Program’s strategic planning in the short, medium, and long term through its Goals and Action Plan.
