PECEM officially began its activities in 2002. In Paraná, it was the first Master’s Program in Science Education and Mathematics Education, contributing to the training of new researchers.
Over the course of 23 years, PECEM has had over 330 dissertations and more than 230 theses defended, as shown in the following graph:
