Requirements for Completion:
Master’s Program Completion Requirements (Master of Microbiology)
- Complete the core courses: 2MIB005-Seminars I, 2MIB222-Microbial Cytology, 2MIB223-Microbial Physiology and Metabolism, 2MIB224-Virology, 2MIB225- Microbial Genetics, 2MIB226-Molecular Biology of Microorganisms, 2MIB122-Graduate Teaching Internship I, and elective courses.
- Approval by an examination board of the master’s research proposal and of the oral presentation.
- Approval by the qualifying examination board of the written manuscript and of the oral presentation of the work under development.
- Approval by the viva examination board of the final thesis and of the oral presentation.
PhD Program Completion Requirements (PhD in Microbiology):
- Complete the core courses: 2MIB222-Microbial Cytology, 2MIB223-Microbial Physiology and Metabolism, 2MIB224-Virology, 2MIB225-Microbial Genetics, 2MIB226-Molecular Biology of Microorganisms, 2MIB081-Seminars II, 2MIB227-Seminars III, 2MIB123-Graduate Teaching Internship II, 2MIB124-Graduate Teaching Internship III, and elective courses.
- Approval by the qualifying examination board of the written manuscript and of the oral presentation of the work under development.
- Approval by the viva examination board of the final version of the doctoral dissertation and of the oral presentation.
