Admission Process: Admissions are conducted annually, commencing in September. The academic year begins in March.

- Fees: The PPGA-UEL Master’s Program is fully funded. There are no tuition fees for enrolled students.
How to Apply to the PPGA Master’s Program?
Step 1: Choose Your Research Focus
- Decide your preferred research area: Organizational Management or Organizations, Power, and Society. You can find brief overviews of each here: https://pos.uel.br/ppga/en/masters-degree/
Step 2: Consider a Supervisor (Optional)
- While not mandatory, finding a faculty supervisor can be beneficial. A list of faculty members with their research areas is available here: https://pos.uel.br/ppga/en/faculty/ Feel free to contact any of them to discuss potential research collaborations.
Step 3: Prepare Your Application Materials
- Once you have your research focus (and potentially a supervisor), gather the required documents:
- Passport
- Undergraduate Degree Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- Brazilian CPF (instructions for foreign applicants: https://www.gov.br/mre/pt-br/consulado-hartford/cpf-brasileiros-foreigners/cpf-foreigners)
- Research Proposal (see below for basic structure)
Step 4: Submit Your Application Online
- Complete the online application form here: https://sites.uel.br/proppg/inscricoes/
- Select “Mestrado” (Master’s program).
- Search for “Administração” (Management).
- Click on “Efetuar Inscrição” (Enroll/Register).
- Then, select “Nova Inscrição” (New Enrollment) to start your application.
Step 5: Interview
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with faculty members.

Research Proposal Guidelines for PPGA Admissions
A research proposal is a mandatory part of the PPGA admission process and should be submitted to present your intended research in a clear and structured way. Below is the recommended structure and a brief explanation of each section:
1. Title
- A concise and descriptive title that reflects the central focus of your research.
2. Research Line Choice
- Indicate which of the two PPGA research lines your proposal aligns with Organizational Management or Organizations, Power, and Society. Briefly explain how your research fits this line and contributes to the field.
3. Introduction and Research Question
- A brief, contextualized introduction to your topic, highlighting its relevance and importance within the field of Administration. End the introduction with a clear research question, and, if possible, state the study’s main objectives.
4. Literature Review
- A concise review of key academic works relevant to your research topic. Summarize the current state of research and identify gaps or areas that need further investigation, positioning your study within the existing body of knowledge.
5. Research Methods or Design
- The methodology you plan to use to answer your research question. Include information about the research approach (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed), data collection methods, and how you will analyze the data.
6. References
- A list of academic sources cited in your proposal. Please, use APA style and ensure all sources referenced in the text are included in this section.
