The Graduate Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics (PGMAC), of the Mathematics Department of the State University of Londrina (DM-UEL), was approved by CAPES in 2006 and began its activities in 2007. Currently, the program is evaluated by CAPES with a score of 4. The program’s area of concentration is Applied Mathematics with the objective of training high-level professionals with a Master’s degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics. The target audience is graduates and undergraduates in Mathematics or Statistics and related areas such as Engineering, Computer Science and Physics, provided that they prove completion of the undergraduate degree upon enrollment.
