The PPGSOC/UEL offers 10 master’s and 6 PhD scholarships funded by CAPES’ Social Demand Program. These scholarships are managed by the Scholarships Committee, according to the criteria established by Portaria n° 076/2010 and other documents that regulate the Social Demand Program. A master’s scholarship is usually granted to foreign students of the Brazil PAEC OEA-GCUB Brazil Scholarship Program who are admitted to the PPGSOC/UEL. The other scholarships are granted in accordance with the requirements regulated by specific public notices issued annually, usually at the beginning of the academic semesters when new students are admitted to the master’s and PhD programs.
