The journal Mediações – Revista de Ciências Socias was created in 1996 as a journal of the Department of Social Sciences and of the Graduate Program in Sociology. The journal is published every four months and aims to approach relevant topics in the area of Social Sciences and related fields. It seeks to disseminate national and international high-quality scientific content in the area of Social Sciences and related fields, aiming to foster and expand the production of knowledge and contribute to theoretical and methodological innovation, and to the progress of empirical analyses in Social and Human Sciences.
