No Laboratório de Fisiologia Metabólica estudamos a participação do fígado na regulação da glicemia e do metabolismo energético em diferentes condições metabólicas. Estudamos também as alterações do metabolismo de carboidratos, lipídeos e proteínas em diferentes estados patológicos, como no diabetes mellitus.

Research description:nIn the Metabolic Physiology Laboratory, we study the liver’s role in regulating blood glucose levels and energy metabolism under various metabolic conditions. We also investigate changes in carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism in different pathological states, such as diabetes mellitus.
