Internationalization of Graduate Studies – UEL
Internationalization is a strategic guideline at UEL, set out in the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) and the Strategic Plan for the Internationalization of Research and Postgraduate Studies (PEI-PPG 2023-2027). The actions aim to strengthen the University’s international presence, promote exchanges, increase the visibility of research and incorporate standards of academic excellence.
Among the main initiatives are:
– Paraná Speaks Languages: free courses in English, French and Spanish, and subjects in foreign languages in postgraduate courses.
– International Relations Office (ARI): support for international cooperation, exchanges and agreements with foreign institutions, as well as the Japanese Culture Studies Center (NECJ).
– Academic Writing Center: translating, revising and advising on scientific texts in English, with support from PROPPG and SETI/PR.
These actions reinforce UEL’s commitment to quality and the internationalization of postgraduate studies.
