International Meeting on Qualitative Research and/or Action Methodologies (MQPA)

The International Meeting on Qualitative Research and/or Action Methodologies (MQPA) held its first edition in Uruguay, resulting from partnerships between the GIPAP and CTL groups. The second edition took place in Londrina, hosted by PPGEO, and the third edition was held in Colombia. Both editions saw broad participation from faculty members of the program, including professors Ideni Antonello, Eloiza Torres, Léia Veiga, Jeani Moura, and Sergio Nabarro, as well as members from other departments, international universities, students, and civil society representatives.

Colloquium on Humanist Geography and Education (COGHE)

The I Colloquium on Humanist Geography and Education (COGHE), the first Brazilian event dedicated to the topic, was organized in collaboration with institutions such as UFPI, UFF, UNICAMP, UFPR, UNEB, and IFSP, resulting from partnerships with GHUM. Coordinated by Prof. Jeani Delgado Paschoal Moura, it featured active participation from Prof. Jamille da Silva Lima-Payayá, postdoctoral researcher Daniele Barbosa de Araújo, and alumna Larissa Alves de Oliveira, who also served as speakers and moderators.

Seminar on Latin American Transformative Science (CTL)

The II Seminar on Latin American Transformative Science (CTL), organized by Prof. Ideni Terezinha Antonello, Prof. Sergio Nabarro, and postdoctoral researchers Caio Cezar Cunha and Danieli Barbosa de Araujo, was another outcome of the GIPAP and CTL partnerships. The event featured international participation from Prof. Horácio Bozzano (National University of La Plata) and Prof. Conrado Marquez (Universidad Autónoma Chapingo), along with civil society members, community leaders, and representatives from MST settlements.
