The PPG-Biotech is structured upon and concentrated on only one area of research: Agro-industrial Biotechnology. It follows the demands of the metropolitan region of Londrina as well as those of the state of Paraná and Brazil.  The research focused on Agroindustrial Biotechnology seeks to develop methods, techniques, processes, and biotechnological products that may enrich agricultural raw materials; explore microbial biodiversity and its biological functions; promote sustainable development; develop clean and non-polluting technologies.
