II Meeting of Students and Alumni of the Postgraduate Program in Science Education and Mathematics Education \u2013 “Celebrating 20 Years of History”<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

Organization<\/strong>: Initiative of the PECEM students with the support of the Program’s faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objective<\/strong>: To bring together students, alumni, and faculty to discuss topics related to evaluative aspects, such as the data from the last Quadriennial Evaluation (2017-2020) and the results of the PECEM self-assessment committee. In addition to these discussions, a portion of the activities was systematized, considering the event as a celebratory occasion to mark the 20th anniversary of the Postgraduate Program in Science Education and Mathematics Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event Date<\/strong>: December 1, 2022 (in-person event).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Results<\/strong>: Through the collaboration of faculty, students, and alumni, the II EPECEM was organized. In this second edition, aware of the need to assess the current scenario, themes of great relevance were discussed that allow the evaluation of past actions and (re)thinking of future actions. As an initial activity of the event, some key moments that marked the history of PECEM were recalled, followed by a tribute to the faculty of the program<\/a>. Subsequently, data from the Quadriennial Evaluation (2017-2020) were presented, highlighting important evaluative aspects for the quality and excellence of the Program. Data reflecting the program’s self-assessment were also presented, based on questionnaires completed by students, alumni, and faculty. At the end, to celebrate the twenty years of PECEM’s existence and its pioneering history, advancements, references, and new perspectives in the field of Education, the book PECEM: 20 Years of Research in Science Education and Mathematics Education<\/strong><\/em> was launched.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
