The PPM\u2019s faculty is constituted by 18 members (15 full members e 3 associate members) of the State University of Londrina [Departments of Microbiology (12), Pathology Sciences (2)], of the State University of Maring\u00e1 [Department of Basic Health Sciences (1)], from the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation-Soy (2), and Adolf Lutz institute\/Presidente Prudente (1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program&#8217;s research activity has a focus on one subject area \u2013 Microbiology -, which is divided into three research themes: (1) Biology and Physiology of Microorganisms, (2) Genetics and Molecular Biology of Microorganisms, and (3) Microorganism-Host Interaction, promoting several innovative projects in different sub-areas (Bacteriology, Mycology, Virology and Protozoology), with a research focus on Basic and Applied Microbiology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-accent-color has-text-color\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pos.uel.br\/microbiologia\/corpo-docente\/\">GRADUATE PROGRAM IN MICROBIOLOGY MEMBERS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The PPM faculty is multidisciplinary and composed of highly qualified supervisors in different areas of Microbiology who work on developing scientific, innovation, and entrepreneurship projects.
