The main proposed biotechnological tools are the inoculation with associative bacteria and nanocarrier systems with plant growth regulators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides developing these nature-based solutions, the project is screening stakeholders involved with forest restoration, such as native tree nurseries in the three countries involved: Brazil, France, and Germany. The goal is to join the academy and society in an effort to mitigate climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each activity of the project is part of a working package with specific goals and a research team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RESTORE project was approved in the transnational call from Confap-Biodiversa named \u201cBiodiversity and Climate Change\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biodiversa.org\/1872\">www.biodiversa.org\/1872<\/a>). Confap is the Brazilian National Council of State Research Support Foundation, of which Araucaria Foundation is part and supports Brazil\u2019s participation in the project.
